Join ALS Coal – Gladstone/Biloela, QLD as a Laboratory AssistantAbout the PositionWe are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team at the Callide Mine Site on a permanent full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Working on a rotating lifestyle roster (day and night shifts), you'll play a key role in supporting coal sampling, testing, and laboratory operations while contributing to the success of our site.Your key responsibilitiesPerforming manual handling tasks in a safe and efficient mannerConducting routine coal sampling and testingPerforming physical tests including, crushing, and dividing samplesCoal preparation activitiesLoading and unloading samples from various plant streamsAssisting with sample preparation and analysisCarrying out general laboratory dutiesMaintaining laboratory equipment and work areasAdhering to site safety procedures and quality standardsCollaborating with team members across multiple sites as requiredTravelling between mine sites, day & night when required.About YouA positive,
