Operations Supervisor (PM Shift) - MelbourneBroadmeadows, VIC | Full Time | 2:00pm StartWe are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Supervisor to join our Melbourne operation based in Broadmeadows.This is a key leadership role responsible for coordinating linehaul activities, managing trailer and freight movements, maintaining service standards, and ensuring the safe and effective flow of freight throughout our network.
You will work closely with drivers, contractors, depot teams and supervisors to deliver exceptional operational outcomes.About the RoleReporting to the PM Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:Supervising daily linehaul operations and ensuring service commitments are achievedCoordinating outbound trailer movements and local trailer requirementsMonitoring operational performance and proactively resolving service issuesLeading and supporting drivers, contractors and operational staffEnsuring compliance with company policies, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR requirements, obligations and safety proceduresIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service performanceAssisting with workforce planning,



scheduling and operational reporting.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous supervisory experience within a transport, freight, logistics or linehaul environmentStrong understanding of linehaul operations and freight movementsA current Forklift Licence is preferred but not essentialSolid knowledge of palletised/caged freight handling and warehouse operationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong planning, organisation and problem-solving abilitiesThe ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment and manage competing prioritiesA customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellenceSound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and transport management systemsA strong commitment to workplace safety and operational compliance.Successful completion of a police check and medical assessment (paid for by Allied)Shift: Monday to Friday, commencing at 2:00pm (finish time as required).
