As an intern, you will work alongside experienced consultants and data engineers to help Australian enterprises harness the power of data.
You will be exposed to real client engagements, enterprise data platforms, and the full lifecycle of analytics consulting — from discovery and design through to delivery and value realisation.This is a structured program designed to build your consulting acumen, technical depth, and qualified skills within a supportive and collaborative team environment.Educational RequirementsCurrently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems,
or a related field from a recognised Australian or international universityStrong academic record (Credit average or above preferred)Must be able to achieve and hold an Australian Government Security ClearancePenultimate and final year students encouraged to applyTechnical SkillsMust HaveProficiency in SQL — writing and optimising queries for large-scale data environmentsExposure to at least one programming or scripting language: Python, Java, or similarUnderstanding of relational databases and data modelling conceptsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and basic cloud servicesAbility to work with and interpret data: data profiling, data quality, and data transformationGood to HaveExposure to Teradata Vantage or other enterprise data warehouse technologiesExperience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similarUnderstanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline conceptsKnowledge of agile project delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scriptingExposure to machine learning concepts or tools (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)Consulting & Professional SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills — ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business stakeholdersStructured problem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute as part of a cross-functional teamProfessional attitude and confidence when working with clients and senior stakeholdersCuriosity, initiative,
