Hawk Geo Pty Ltdis a Leading geotechnical and construction materials testing company servicing the Sydney, Central Coast and Hunter regions.We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Casual Laboratory Technician to join our team at our Boolaroo laboratory.No previous experience is required.
Full training will be provided.This is a casual position, with the prospect for a full-time traineeship for the right candidate.About the RoleYou will be trained to carry out a range of geotechnical and construction materials laboratory testing.Day-to-day duties will include:Preparing and testing soil and construction material samplesGeneral laboratory dutiesRecording and entering test resultsMaintaining a clean and organised work areaAssisting other laboratory staff as requiredExposure opportunities:Field density testingConstruction site testing and samplingSoil and materials samplingThis is a hands-on and physically active role that would suit someone who enjoys practical work and wants to learn new skills.What We're Looking ForTo be successful,



you will need:Reliable transport to and from our Boolaroo laboratoryAvailability to work Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pmThe ability to repetitively lift up to 20 to 30 kgA practical and logical approach to problem solvingBasic computer skillsA strong work ethicThe ability to work well in a teamReliability and punctualityPrevious experience in geotechnical testing, laboratories, construction or a similar industry is an advantage, but not essential.We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, works hard and can be relied upon to turn up each day ready to work.Why Join Hawk Geo?
