We're seeking a dedicated Case Manager - Domestic & Family Violence to join our Refuge Community Services team.
you will be responsible for working with women, children, and young people who have experienced domestic and family violence.
You'll empower women, children, and families to recover and rebuild their lives free from violence.Location: Brisbane, QLDRole Type: Maximum Term Contract | Full Time role Until 31 August ****Remuneration: $***** - $***** ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefitsWhat You'll Be DoingProviding trauma-informed case management and ongoing supportCompleting comprehensive risk and needs assessments, including safety planningSupporting clients to access housing, financial assistance, legal, health and community servicesAdvocating on behalf of clients with government agencies and external service providersBuilding trusting relationships that promote empowerment and informed decision-makingWorking collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate supportMaintaining accurate case notes, reports and client documentationParticipating in case reviews, professional supervision and continuous improvement activitiesContributing to a safe, respectful and inclusive service environment.What You'll BringExperience delivering case management within domestic and family violence, family support or community servicesA strong understanding of trauma-informed,



strengths-based and person-centred practiceKnowledge of domestic and family violence risk assessment and safety planningExcellent communication, advocacy and relationship-building skillsThe ability to manage complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and empathyStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseloadRelevant qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Community Services or a related disciplineCurrent Queensland Driver's LicenceCurrent Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
