This is a hands-on role suited to someone who knows the electrical industry and enjoys building relationships over the phone and counter.Key Responsibilities:Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and counter - quoting and processing orders efficientlyProvide technical product advice on electrical components and equipmentProactively follow up quotes and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunitiesLiaise with external sales reps to support key accounts and current businessCheck stock, check availability, and coordinate with procurement/warehouse teamsMaintain accurate records in the ERP systemBuild strong, lasting relationships with trade and industrial customersSupport pricing, backorders, and general account queriesAbout YouPrevious experience in a similar internal sales role within the electrical industry is preferred - you understand electrical components, terminology, and how trade customers operateStrong communication skills and a customer-first attitudeComfortable working in a fast-paced, phone- and counter-based sales environmentConfident using ERP systems and general computer literacyA team player who can also work autonomously and take ownership of tasksWell organised, with solid attention to detailA proactive, can-do approach to problem solvingWhat We OfferSupportive, close-knit team environmentOpportunity to grow within a well-established and expanding businessCompetitive salary based on experienceOngoing product and industry training
