Vic's Premium Quality Meat is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Purchasing & Supply Officer to support procurement, production planning, inventory and 3PL operations across our growing food manufacturing business.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment and taking ownership of suppliers, stock, data and operational outcomes.Key responsibilitiesManage procurement of packaging, labels, cartons, stickers, consumables and value-add productsCoordinate production planning for the Vic's Smallgoods rangeSupport the Vic's Kitchen range from product development through to ongoing production and stock managementRaise, track and follow up purchase orders to ensure on-time and accurate supplyMonitor supplier lead times, stock levels and par levels to prevent shortages and excess inventoryManage day-to-day coordination with 3PL warehouse partners, including stock movements and reconciliationSupport demand planning, forecasting and inventory requirements across key product categoriesWork closely with Production, Warehouse, QA, NPD and Marketing on forecasting and supply requirementsSupport supplier relationship management and identify cost and process improvementsMaintain accurate purchasing,



stock and supplier recordsSupport the transition of Unit D into 3PL managementAssist with annual Christmas planning and executionAbout youWe are looking for someone who is highly analytical, commercially aware and exceptionally detail focused.Ideally, you will have:Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory or production planningERP experience, ideally with ProntoStrong numerical capability and confidence working with large volumes of dataExperience in forecasting and demand planningStrong inventory management and stock control capabilityExcellent attention to detail and data accuracyConfidence analysing stock levels, lead times, usage trends and purchasing requirementsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience working with suppliers, 3PL providers and operational teamsA proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact productionExperience within the meat industry is preferred, with broader food manufacturing or FMCG experience also highly regarded.If you enjoy working with data, solving supply challenges and taking ownership of purchasing and inventory outcomes, we would like to hear from you.
