We are creative and design-led, and equally focused on strong systems, clear communication, attention to detail and craftsmanship.We are now looking for a highly organised, commercially minded Production & Operations Coordinator to join our team in Avalon Beach, Sydney NSW.This is not a traditional admin role.
It sits at the centre of the business, connecting customer orders, payments, production, inventory, our design team and dispatch.We are looking for someone who naturally enjoys keeping a lot of moving parts organised, making sensible decisions, solving problems quickly and ensuring nothing gets lost between teams.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:Managing morning order and payment workflows, receiving new orders and routing the required tasks to the appropriate team membersEntering, managing and prioritising production timelines across customer ordersMonitoring upcoming deadlines and identifying orders that require prioritisationManaging inventory and tracking stock through production and completionEnsuring all ASTON pieces are properly QC'd and allocated to/by appropriate team members upon completionCommunicating with our production teams questions,



priorities and order requirementsSubmitting and managing purchase orders with productionLiaising between all main production and design teams throughout each aspect of the design and production processResponding to customer emails, scanning for urgent emails, advising on production timelines, order progress and production-related solutionsHelping determine practical solutions when an order, timeline or production issue requires interventionDocumenting internal processes and helping improve operational systems as the business continues to growActing as a central point between our accounts, styling, design, production and dispatch teamsA large part of this role is understanding what needs to happen next, who needs to handle it, and how urgently it needs to happen.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORYou will likely be someone who:Is exceptionally organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities at onceHas solid attention to detailCommunicates clearly and confidentlyEnjoys systems, processes and improving how work flows through a businessIs comfortable taking responsibility for deadlinesCan communicate professionally with customersIs confident working with spreadsheets, internal systems and detailed order informationEnjoys being the person who knows what is happening across the businessExperience in operations, production coordination, fashion, manufacturing,



logistics, inventory, e-commerce or a similar environment would be highly valuable, although we are equally interested in finding someone with the right mindset and ability to learn.LOCATION & WORKING ARRANGEMENTThis role will initially need to be office-based in Avalon Beach from approximately 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.ASTON has a significant amount of internal production knowledge, systems and processes that need to be learnt closely alongside a director and the broader team.
