This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating programs, managing competing priorities and providing high-quality support across learning, workforce and culture initiatives.Working closely with managers and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll help ensure workforce programs, systems and processes run smoothly while contributing to a positive employee experience.Your current roleIn this varied position, you will:Coordinate learning and development activities, training requests and workforce programmesSupport studies assistance, scholarship and fellowship initiativesMaintain HR systems and learning platforms, ensuring information is accurate and up to dateMonitor and manage workforce inboxes, responding to queries and actioning requestsProvide secretariat support to committees, including meeting preparation, minutes and follow-up actionsCoordinate onboarding activities,
including new starter inductions and workplace toursPrepare reports, briefing materials and organisational workforce documentationContribute to internal communications, SharePoint updates and employee engagement initiativesConduct policy and legislative research to provide practical advice to managers and employeesSupport workforce projects and continuous improvement initiativesWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful, you'll bring:Experience providing administrative or coordination support within HR, workforce, learning and development or a similar corporate functionStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience preparing reports, meeting papers or committee documentationExcellent written communication and attention to detailConfidence engaging with a broad range of stakeholdersStrong systems' capabilities, including Microsoft Office and corporate systemsAn interest in workforce, people and culture initiativesWhat you'll get in returnOpportunity to contribute to significant organisational change and transformationBroad exposure across workforce and culture functionsSupportive and collaborative team environmentCanberra-based position with flexible working arrangements after established capability
