Ongoing, full-time opportunity based in WangarattaHelp contribute to the rehabilitation of individuals leading to greater community safetySalary $91,971 - $98,955 plus superannuationCommunity Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practicesthat reduce reoffendingandconnect individuals toprograms,servicesand community.
CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed responsible sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.About the role:Case Managers in the Court Practice stream are responsible for applying evidence-based case management practices to individuals at medium or high risk of reoffending.
This role is required to utilise case management practices to actively engage individuals and ensure responsive, targeted interventions to assist in reducing their risk of reoffending.Key responsibilities include:Identify and evaluate factors that relate to individual offending behaviourMotivate and influence individuals in the case management processProduce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelinesMonitor individual's compliance against order requirementsAbout you:Demonstrates assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behavioursBuilds positive working relationships and enjoys working in a small, close-knit teamUnderstanding of case management practices relating to complex individualsPractices modelling pro social behaviours and motivates those around themPays attention to words, expression and body language; Recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusionFor more details on the position, please review the position description attached or contact:Bernard Wilson on or via email at Why work with us?
