Fire Service Technician - Casual to Full time PositionFire Service Technician - Casual position with a possibility to go onto a Full time role.Minimum of 5 years experience and must be accredited.Based in South-Western Sydney and servicing Sydney's South-West, Sydney metro and Illawarra areas, our company has over 20 years experience in the industry.
We are fully accredited under the FPAA - FPAS Scheme.Due to ongoing expansion of our client base we are looking for a Casual candidate.The candidate we are looking for must be reliable, punctual, well presented, self motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.Applicants should have a valuable knowledge of fire protection industry, great eye for detail, good customer communication skills & have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the fire protection industry.DutiesFire safety preventative maintenance and servicing - (IT) Inspect & TestMonthly,



6 Monthly and Annual Testing of Fire Safety Equipment (Automatic fire detection systems, Fire doors, Extinguishers, Hose reel systems, Hydrant systems including pump sets, Emergency & Exit lights, Smoke & Heat alarms, etc. (Depending on experience and qualifications)Repairs, rectificationsUse of portable device and industry software to report on completed jobsRequirementsCurrent Australian Drivers License,White Card,WWCC - Working With Children Check,Police check must be completed before applicationAccreditation in I&T; or APFS,Both I&T; and APFS accreditation requiredSound knowledge of testing requirements,Ability to identify issues during testing and report accurately,Must be honest, reliable uphold key personal and business values and want to work as part of a team.
