As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our project delivery team.
This is an excellent chance for an emerging construction professional looking to develop their career while working alongside experienced Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, and consultants on a diverse range of commercial projects.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects through project administration, documentation management, quality assurance, site coordination, and stakeholder communication.
You will work closely with site-based teams to ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Administration & Documentation
Maintain and manage project documentation using systems such as ProcoreEnsure drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation remain current and accessiblePrepare, coordinate, and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality recordsMaintain project registers, including concrete, labour hire, waste, calibration, and reinforcement recordsAssist with monthly project reporting and cost documentationCoordinate and collate handover documentation, manuals, warranties, and as-built information
Site Coordination & Quality Assurance
Verify materials, services, and completed works meet project requirementsCoordinate inspections with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliersAttend and document site inspections and quality assurance activitiesAssist with site logistics, including deliveries, equipment,



and temporary servicesMaintain photographic records of project progress
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clientsSupport proactive communication across all project stakeholdersContribute to a positive, collaborative project culture
Health, Safety & Compliance
Promote safe work practices and compliance with CIP's HSEQ Management SystemParticipate in ongoing training and support continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are organised, proactive, and eager to learn.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment and have strong attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
Degree or Diploma completed or currently studying in:Construction ManagementQuantity SurveyingEngineering or related disciplineCurrent Driver's LicenceStrong written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate computer skillsStrong organisational and time management abilities
Highly Regarded
Previous experience within commercial constructionExposure to structural, services, or finishes tradesExperience using project management platforms such as ProcoreUnderstanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes
We also welcome applications from candidates who may not have extensive commercial construction experience but can demonstrate strong administration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
