seeking enthusiastic and experienced Coal Driller Assistants to join team our working in the Bowen Basin Region.
We offer training opportunities, including Nationally Certified training, working with a fleet of new Boart Longyear LF160 rigs, enjoy an even time 2:2 roster giving you that work life balance, you will also receive a competitive shift rate with bonus eligibility and leave entitlements.This role is FIFO from Brisbane with meals, accommodation and flights paid for.

Safety first with involvement in daily pre-start equipment checks, general maintenance, completion of safety documentation and compliance with safe work practicesOperate ancillary equipment including onsite trucksAssist to set up/dismantle/move drill rigs and equipmentAssist with loading and unloading heavy vehiclesFollow Safe Work InstructionsAdd/remove drill rods/augers and other downhole toolsClean drill rigs, vehicles, equipment, and toolingAssist in routine maintenance on drill rigs, equipment, vehicles and toolsAssist with mixing drilling fluids and cement as requiredMaintaining adequate water supply for drilling operationsAssist in maintaining the drill site, drill rig, vehicles,



ancillary equipment and work areaA few things we're looking for:HR Drivers Licence (essential)Current First Aid & CPR or willing to obtainAbility to provide a satisfactory National Police ClearanceCertificate II / III in Drilling OperationsSection 11 Inductions completed (highly desirable)Previous experience in the Drilling industryDemonstrated personal commitment to working safelyBe a team player with good interpersonal skillsAll candidates will be required to submit a recent National Police Clearance with their application, and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including Coal Board medical.What's in it for you?
