The Position:An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join a well-established professional services organisation based in Perth CBD on a 12-month fixed-term contract.Working as part of a supportive finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounts payable activities, alongside supporting the organisation's fortnightly payroll function.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys a varied role, is highly organised and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work.Key Responsibilities:End-to-end Accounts Payable processing within a high-volume setting;Invoice processing, coding and supplier reconciliations;Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong internal relationships;Processing supplier payments and credit card transactions;Assisting with bank reconciliations and general finance administration;Supporting the wider finance team with billing and month-end requirements;Fortnightly payroll processing and associated administration;Processing timesheets,



deductions and superannuation;Responding to payroll-related queries;Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required.Skills and Experience:5+ years' experience in a similar finance position;Strong Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment;Previous payroll processing experience highly regarded;Experience within professional services is advantageous but not essential;Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;Strong organisational and time management skills;Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships;Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute effectively within a team.What's in it for you?
