We have an opportunity for an all-rounder admin superstar to join our Sydney Airport team and elevate our administrative operations.
In this fast-paced role, as our Port Based Administrator you'll manage a wide range of office and finance processes, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and resolve day-to-day admin matters across ground services and/or cargo operations—bringing structure, efficiency and a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.About you and the role:Provide daily updates on the actual hours used versus forecast, while reviewing revenue generated and 'clock in' hoursProvide timely reports compiled from various sources to ensure management are kept fully informed of the labour utilisation across the respective portReviewing the Payroll exceptions reportPerform office administrative support such as uniforms and ordering stationery (ensuring receipts are available for all purchases)Arranging repairs and service call outs as requiredPerform general finance support such as billing, invoice processing adhering to company GL codes and authority matrix,



purchase orders etcEnsure queries are dealt with in a professional and effective manner through either personally handling them or delegating to the appropriate channel, ensuring that they are resolved.Data management functions including paper and electronic records management, producing reports, compiling information etcAny other duties as required by the businessKey Requirements that you bring with you:Robust computer acumen with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteSound organisational skills and experience in undertaking and completing several tasks concurrently, and meeting deadlinesPositive attitude that is reflected in interactions within the businessKnowledge of resource planning and rostering principlesGood operational understanding of the airport operationExposure / understanding of payroll systems (Zambion)Sound interpersonal and communication skills; be able to communicate with a variety of people within the organisation.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking skills.
High standards of performance and qualityAbility to work collaboratively and independently as well as a team member in both natural work teams and project teamsAbility to perform duties in pressured and stressful job situation successfully i.e. competing demands and priorities, including working any extra hours requiredThis position is located at 321 Link Road, Mascot (Terminal 1 Cargo), working hours Monday to Friday.
