Weprovide planned non-admitted services that require the focus of an acute setting to ensure the best outcome for a patient.
These services are an important interface in the health system between acute inpatient and primary care services.They provide access to:Medical, Nursing and Allied Health professionals for assessment, diagnosis and treatmentOngoing specialist management of chronic and complex conditions in collaboration with community providersPre-and post-hospital careRelated diagnostic services such as pathology and imagingTeaching, training and research opportunitiesAbout the roleAs the Data Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals, who are passionate about supporting the wider organisation in ensuring high patient data integrity across referrals, waitlists,
appointments and scheduling.You'll join a friendly and supportive team who genuinely enjoy their work and the contribution they make.A regular day will see you:Coordinating health professional schedule change requests and actioning changes in our systemsSetting up new Specialist services in systemsPerforming routine and ad-hoc user workflow correctionsResponding to queries from Specialist Clinics units, administrative staff, and other departmentsCreate and distribute operational reportsPerform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system upgrade and patch testing across Specialist Clinics systems (Trakcare, Queue Manager, CRM)Participate in quality improvement and service development activitiesAbout youYou will be someone who has excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to excellence in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
You'll bring energy and drive to you work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and OutlookStrong computer and systems literacy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to different technologiesAccurate and effective data entry skillsAbility to perform and understand complex administrative processes and business rulesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with and engage internal and external stakeholdersExcellent time management and organisational skillsWorking at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
