This position is a frontline management position overseeing two residential programs, two Senior Youth Workers and a team of Residential Youth Workers.As a Case Manager you will make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people by ensuring they are provided high standards of care in a safe living environment.What's on offer?

Preventing Child Sexual Exploitation and Sanctuary trainingAnnual $250 personal wellbeing reimbursement benefit towards eligible activitiesFree access to the CALM Premium App & Flight Centre personal travel discountsAccess to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the day to day running of the programProvide leadership and management to all staff including supervision and developmentEnsure that the program provides trauma informed therapeutic care to young people within a safe, clean and hygienic environmentManage positive relationships with all stakeholdersEnsure the program adheres to all reporting and documentation requirementsWrite Safety Plans and contribute to Positive Behaviour Support PlansAttend critical appointments with young people and facilitate/attend relevant meetingsComplete rosters that reflect smart rostering and industrial compliancePlan and conduct developmentally appropriate individual and group activities consistent with meeting the young people's needs and goals in line with Case PlansContribute to productive and comprehensive on boarding, induction and training of new staffRequirements For The RoleExperience working in a leadership position in a similar fieldA relevant tertiary qualification, Diploma level or higherKnowledge of relevant legislation and best practicesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills,
with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholdersDemonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and empower a team to achieve positive outcomesSound judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectivelyExceptional time management and prioritisation skillsDemonstrated experience in maintaining program complianceA continuous learning mindsetMust hold or be willing to obtain if successfulValid Queensland driver's license with no restrictionsQLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)National Crime Check (IFYS will complete a new check through our systems)Ability to provide two recent line manager references (including your current employer)Application and assessment processWe are an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity and difference in our communities.
