Location: Brisbane, QLD (various sites across South East Queensland)Salary: $80,000 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuationEmployment type: Full-time, Permanent (38 hours/week)ResponsibilitiesAttending sites to inspect and evaluate damage arising from fire, water, storm or mould eventsPreparing cost estimates and scopes of restoration works for insurer reviewWriting explicit, detailed assessment reports with supporting photographic evidenceCommunicating with policyholders and other parties to obtain claim‐relevant informationCoordinating with restoration technicians and trade contractors to progress claimsWorking within regulatory and industry (IICRC) standards at all timesEssential requirementsAt least 2 years' relevant experience in insurance restoration or loss assessmentIICRC WRT accreditation or higherValid White Card and QLD driver's licenceSound written communication and analytical skillsCapacity to work independently and manage a caseload under time pressureConditionsCompany vehicle and phone provided.Some after-hours and weekend work may be required, with applicable penalty rates.Occasional interstate travel may be required to support catastrophic event response.
