BetterYOU Fitness | Pakenham, VIC$80,000 + Super + Performance Bonus | Full-TimeAbout BetterYOU FitnessBetterYOU Fitness is an independently owned gym in Pakenham with a strong local member community and ambitious plans for continued growth.We've built the club around high standards, great equipment, a strong member experience and creating an environment people genuinely enjoy being part of.We're now looking for an experienced Gym Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the club and help lead BetterYOU through its next stage of growth.This is an prospect for someone who doesn't just want to work in a gym — you want to help run one.The OpportunityYou'll work closely with the owner while taking responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the club.You'll have genuine input into how the gym operates, how the team performs, how we improve the member experience and how we continue growing the business.This is a hands-on leadership position.You'll be on the gym floor, leading staff, speaking with members, driving sales, reviewing KPIs, solving problems and continually looking for ways to improve the club.What You'll Be Responsible ForClub Operations — ensure the gym operates smoothly and maintains excellent standards across presentation, cleanliness, maintenance, staffing and member experience.Team Leadership — lead, train, develop and hold staff accountable while helping create a positive, high-performing culture.Sales & Growth — drive membership sales, lead follow-up, renewals and other initiatives that contribute to club revenue.Member Retention — build strong relationships with members, resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve retention and satisfaction.Performance Management — monitor key KPIs across membership growth, sales, retention,



revenue and team performance.Business Development — help execute marketing initiatives, events, partnerships, community outreach and current ideas that grow the club.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who combines leadership, commercial awareness and strong people skills.You'll be someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.You'll ideally have:Previous experience leading or managing a teamPrevious sales experience and confidence working towards targetsStrong communication and customer service skillsExperience managing staff performanceStrong organisation and time-management skillsA proactive, solutions-focused mindsetHigh personal standards and attention to detailConfidence working with KPIs and performance targetsA genuine interest in health, fitness and helping peoplePrevious management experience is highly regarded but not essential.We hire the person over the experience.Why Join BetterYOU?
