Our company offers our valued customers freshness & quality of product, backed by friendly service.We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Mincer / Pick Packer / Meat Production Worker to join our production team in Melbourne.This is a permanent full-time position with an early 4:00 am start, suited to someone who is physically fit, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced meat production environment.
Reasonable overtime maybe required.Key ResponsibilitiesPicking and packing customer orders accuratelyCutting and trimming meat using knivesOperating a mincer and assisting with meat preparationWeighing, packing and labelling productsHeavy lifting and moving heavy tubs of meat and minceLoading and unloading products as requiredSome local driving and deliveriesMaintaining a clean and organised work areaFollowing food safety,



hygiene and workplace safety proceduresWorking efficiently to meet daily production and dispatch deadlinesReporting directly to the Production ManagerAssisting with other general production and warehouse duties as requiredAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will:Be reliable and punctual, particularly for a 4:00 am startHave previous experience in meat production, food manufacturing, warehousing or a similar environmentBe confident and competent handling knivesBe physically fit and capable of regularly lifting heavy tubs and boxesBe comfortable working in a chilled/cold production environmentHave valuable attention to detail when picking and packing ordersBe able to work both independently and as part of a teamHave a strong focus on workplace safety and food hygieneBe willing to learn and assist across different areas of productionHold a current Australian driver's licence due to some driving dutiesPrevious experience with meat cutting, trimming, mincing or food production will be highly regarded.What We OfferPermanent full-time employmentEarly starts with afternoons freeStable, ongoing workCompetitive hourly rate based on skills and experienceSupportive and experienced production teamIf you are reliable, physically fit, comfortable with early starts and have experience working with meat or in a similar production environment, we would like to hear from you.
