Premier Funeral Group Pty Ltd – Goodna QLDHeritage Park Crematorium and Memorial Gardens is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cremator Operator & Groundskeeper to join our team in Goodna, QLD.
This is a casual position that plays a vital role in providing dignified and respectful funeral services to families during their time of need.
As a Cremator Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of cremation equipment, ensuring that all procedures are carried out with the utmost care, precision and compliance with relevant legislation.
The role also assists with the care and maintenance of our grounds to provide a calm and peaceful environment for families to visit with their loved ones.
This position is essential to the smooth operation of our services and requires someone who understands the sensitivity and importance of this work.Key responsibilitiesOperation and care of all cremation equipment including general maintenance and cleaningEnsuring all cremation procedures are carried out safely, professionally and with appropriate care and dignityMaintaining accurate records of all cremations, including identification verification and documentation in association with administration staffCompleting regular equipment inspection checks and reporting any maintenance issues to managementProcessing and interment of cremated remains into appropriate containers and assisting as required with memorial placements within the groundsGeneral Groundskeeping duties as requiredWhat we're looking forPrevious experience as a Cremator Operator or in a similar role within the funeral services industry is well regardedPhysically capable and willing to help out in a wide range of tasks to keep our facilities beautiful for our familiesAbility to work autonomously and with good time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsReliability and the ability to work flexiblyProfessional, discrete and compassionateWhat we offerHeritage Park Crematorium and Memorial Gardens is committed to supporting our staff and providing a workplace where you can take pride in the work you do.
