Working closely with the Village Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the property to ensure residents enjoy a clean, secure, and well-maintained environment.The role involves physically demanding work, including regular manual handling and lifting, along with the safe operation of power tools and maintenance equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, hedging,



and landscapingOperation and maintenance of gardening and maintenance equipmentUpkeep of village facilities, amenities, and common areasAssist with minor repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks as directedEnsure presentation standards of the village are maintained at all timesSupport safe work practices and maintain a clean and safe work environmentIdentify maintenance issues and report them promptly to managementAssist with general property upkeep and operational requirements as neededWhat You Need to SucceedPrevious experience in grounds and property maintenance (community, village, or similar environment preferred but not essential)Current Australian Driver's LicenceAbility to perform manual tasks including lifting, carrying, and repetitive physical activitiesDemonstrated ability to safely operate power tools and maintenance equipmentStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, proactive, and safety-focused attitudeStrong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standardsYou will be competent in the use of equipment such as:Ride-on mowersHedge trimmersWhipper snippersChainsawsHigh-powered hand toolsWhat We Offer YouA rewarding full-time role within a supportive team environmentStable Monday to Friday positionOpportunity to work within a growing and reputable companySupportive leadership and operational support
