As Administration Team Leader at Icon Cancer Centre South Brisbane, you'll support a high-performing administration team while ensuring patients and their families receive compassionate, professional care from the moment they arrive.About the RoleAs our Administration Team Leader, you'll lead and support a team of administration professionals responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our cancer centre's reception, patient administration and billing functions.
Working closely with the Site Manager and clinical teams, you'll help coordinate patient journeys, support team performance and ensure our patients, doctors and visitors receive exceptional service at every interaction.You'll be responsible for:Leading, coaching and supporting the administration teamPreparing team rosters and helping optimise resources across the centreFostering a positive and collaborative team cultureSupporting performance reviews, onboarding and ongoing team developmentEnsuring a welcoming and skilled reception experience for patients and visitorsCoordinating patient appointments and assisting with treatment schedulingManaging patient administration, invoicing and Medicare processingSupporting accurate billing, health fund claims and payment processingBuilding strong relationships with clinicians, patients, carers and business partnersContributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the patient experienceAbout YouYou'll bring previous experience in a medical, hospital or specialist practice environment, combined with the confidence to lead a team and drive high service standards.We're looking for someone who has:Experience in medical reception,
