This is a part time position with $21,000 worth of incentives for the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding and experience in New Zealand ECE teaching practices and a willingness to learn or already have knowledge in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Victorian Early Learning and Development Framework (VELDF).
Key responsibilitiesPlan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 0-5 yearsCreate a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environmentConduct observations and assessments of children's developmentMaintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate with parents/guardiansCollaborate with other educators to develop and implement educational programsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standardsRequirementsMUST HOLD New Zealand Citizenship OR valid working rights in Australia (please note we are only accepting candidates that are currently based in New Zealand and meet this criteria, ALL APPLICANTS BASED OVERSEAS WITHOUT WORKING RIGHTS WILL NOT PROCEED)ACECQA approved ECT level qualificationValid VIT (Victorianteaching registration) OR current New Zealand Teachers Registration and ability to apply for a Mutual Recognition teachers registration.
