.Key ResponsibilitiesTo work in a safe and standard way, and provide support for safe and standard workDaily start‐up, shutdown and changeover of production lines to ensure stable production cyclesMechanical maintenance and repair of food production equipmentPreventative maintenance tasksBreakdown response and fault-findingSupport general site maintenance as requiredcontribute to a culture of continuous improvementAbout YouMeredith Dairy will place high value on candidates that meet with points 1,2 and3 above.Happy to work a weekday rotation, that will include weekend work (shared roster)(training will be provided, across all equipment so please feel confident to apply if you meet the values criteria but require any additional training in other areas)Experience or exposure to manufacturing environments (food manufacturing desirable)Practical, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication across different roles and expectations supportive teamwork skillsCurrent driver's licence essential due to locationDesirable (but not essential)Welding or fabrication skillsFamiliarity with preventative maintenance systemsThis is a hands‐on role that will fully utlise all skills providing a variety of work to support the safe and standard operation of production equipment and site facilities.
