They partner with Australian businesses across technology, pharmaceutical, automotive, manufacturing, education and professional services sectors to design and deliver intelligent, high performing workplaces from initial concept through to construction.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an Interior Designer to join their design team.The RoleYou'll provide interior design support across a range of commercial projects, contributing to the delivery of innovative and functional workplace solutions that meet client objectives.
You'll be involved in all stages of the design process from concept development and documentation through to design presentations and project coordination, working closely with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in delivering the full design process from concept development through to project completionDevelop Concept, Design Development, Tender and Construction Documentation packagesPrepare design specifications, CAD drawings, schedules, presentations and supporting project documentationSupport coordination of internal and external design,
architectural and consultant resourcesLiaise with clients and the sales/estimating team to understand project requirements and scopeParticipate in project meetings with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholdersAssist with space planning and the selection of furniture, finishes, materials and FF&E; solutionsProduce mood boards, material palettes and design presentations that communicate design intentManage assigned project tasks and priorities to meet deadlines and objectivesAbout YouIndustry recognised Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or ArchitectureUnderstanding of commercial interior design principles, design documentation and construction processes of at least 3 yearsFamiliarity with furniture systems, finishes, materials and workplace design solutions is desirableProficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of building codes, standards and permitting processes relevant to interior designStrong communication, collaboration, organisational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines in a fast paced environmentWhat's on OfferWork on a diverse range of commercial and workplace design projectsJoin a well established, collaborative design team with a strong industry reputationGenuine growth opportunities in a business with a long track record of success
