At Wesley Mission, we uphold children's rights, take the Child Secure Standards seriously and require all staff working in our service to hold a cleared Working with Children CheckAbout the roleAs the Assistant Coordinator (Senior Educator) at our Kotara South service, you will work alongside the Service Coordinator to support daily operations, lead the team in their absence, and deliver engaging, play-based programs that make a real difference.You will mentor fellow Educators, build genuine relationships with families and school staff, and uphold high standards of care and compliance in a service that backs you every step of the way.This role suits someone with emerging leadership qualities, a passion for working with children, and the energy and enthusiasm to contribute to a close-knit, inclusive team culture.OurKotara Southservice is licensed for100children and located ina dedicated OOSH hub withinKotara South Public School.

All staff are expected to uphold strict professional boundaries, follow child protection policies, and actively contribute to a culture where children feel safe, respected, and supported.Essential skills and knowledgeEarly Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalentSound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our PlaceMinimum one year experience working in a children's serviceDemonstrated experience coordinating or leading a teamAbility to plan, implement,
