TML Transport is seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our team in Mildura, VIC.
This role is based in our Mildura depot.
As an MC Driver, you will be responsible for operating multi-combination vehicles safely and efficiently, transporting express freight depot to depot into Sydney.
This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for reliable, professional transport services and meeting our customers' delivery expectations.
You will work independently whilst adhering to strict safety regulations and company policies, playing a vital role in the success of our logistics operations.Key responsibilitiesOperate multi-combination vehicles safely and legally in accordance with road transport regulations and company policiesConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all safety equipment is functioning correctlyFollow and meet delivery schedules and customer requirementsMaintain accurate logbooks and documentation, including delivery dockets and vehicle maintenance recordsComply with fatigue management legislation and manage driving hours responsiblyCommunicate effectively with dispatch, management and customers regarding delivery status and any issuesMaintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during deliveriesReport any mechanical issues immediatelyContribute to a safety-conscious workplace culture by identifying and reporting hazardsWhat we're looking forValid MC licence (Multi-Combination),



with a clean driving recordMinimum 2 years' experience driving multi-combination vehicles in road transportCurrent Driver Fatigue Management Certificate and Driver MedicalWorking knowledge of heavy vehicle safety and maintenance requirementsStrong understanding of load restraint and cargo handling proceduresExcellent time management and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions under pressureStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to safety and compliance with all road transport regulationsProfessional demeanour and reliabilityExperience with GPS systems and digital logbooks is desirableWhat we offerAt TML Transport, we value our drivers and offer a competitive remuneration package.
