You'll be involved in the full product development cycle — research, design, prototyping, testing and launch — working with our multi-disciplinary team, clients and suppliers.




This role suits a creative problem-solver who looks at existing products and sees how they could work better.WHAT YOU'LL DOAnalyse product specifications and requirements to create designs that can be manufactured efficientlyDevelop parts and products from concept designs using SolidWorksProduce concept renders and sketches (KeyShot) for client presentationsReview, improve and maintain existing productsPrepare 2D/3D engineering drawing packages for onshore and offshore manufacturingBuild, modify and test prototypes with our Mechanical Workshop teamDevelop and carry out product testing for durability, reliability and serviceabilityWork closely with electrical designers and project managers to ensure product requirements are metPrepare manufacturing documentation: BoMs, detail drawings, work instructions and product manualsWHAT YOU'LL NEEDDegree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or Product Design EngineeringStrong SolidWorks skills; proficiency in KeyShot, Adobe Suite and Microsoft programsSound knowledge of sheet metal manufacture and plastic/injection-moulded part designExposure to offshore manufacturingCreative problem-solving, strong organisation and attention to detailAble to work autonomously or within a teamWHY NEO?
