What You'll Be DoingPreparing and lodging payroll tax returns across multiple Australian jurisdictions, and staying across state-based legislative changesReconciling payroll-related general ledger accounts including wages, superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG withholding and employee deductionsProcessing fortnightly payroll journals into NetSuite,



with accurate cost allocation across entities and departmentsManaging PAYGW payments, reconciling STP lodgements and monitoring ATO portals for ongoing complianceMaintaining WorkCover records, preparing lodgements and supporting premium reconciliationsInvestigating payroll variances and providing analysis on labour cost movements across business unitsPreparing audit work papers and responding to internal and external information requestsWhat You'll BringExperience in payroll compliance, payroll accounting or a related roleHands-on payroll tax experience, including preparation, reconciliation and lodgementExperience in a large, complex organisation with multi-state, multi-entity or high-volume workforce environmentsStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation and PAYG obligationsAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency across payroll and accounting softwareExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
