Motor Mechanic / Service Manager – Queanbeyan TyrepowerQueanbeyan, NSWFull-time roleCompetitive salary package based on experienceHands-on workshop + customer service leadership roleAbout the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic / Service Manager to join the team at Queanbeyan Tyrepower.This is a true hybrid role — approximately 50% hands-on mechanical work and 50% service management, customer support and workshop coordination.You'll be working on the tools while also helping manage the day-to-day flow of the workshop, supporting customers, quoting work, allocating jobs, checking quality, and helping keep the team organised and productive.This role would suit a qualified mechanic who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is ready to step into a hands-on leadership position.What You'll Be DoingCarrying out mechanical servicing, repairs and inspectionsWorking on brakes, suspension, steering and general mechanical repairsAssisting with diagnostics and fault findingSupporting tyre, wheel alignment and workshop operations as requiredSpeaking with customers, explaining work required and providing adviceQuoting mechanical work and following up customer enquiriesManaging workshop workflow, job priorities and daily bookingsAllocating jobs and supporting the workshop teamChecking work quality and helping maintain strong workshop standardsEnsuring protected work practices and a clean, organised workshopWorking closely with the Store Manager and ownership teamWhat We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role,



you'll need to be a qualified Motor Mechanic with strong practical experience.You will need:Trade qualification as a Motor MechanicSolid experience in vehicle servicing and mechanical repairsExperience with brakes, suspension, steering and general repairsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving abilityGood communication and customer service skillsConfidence quoting work and explaining repairs to customersAbility to organise workshop workflow and manage prioritiesA hands-on attitude and willingness to help wherever neededStrong focus on safety, quality and doing the job properlyTyre, wheel alignment or tyre industry experience highly regardedWhy Join Us?
