HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in on a casual/relief basis with potential to be permanent part time.
The successful applicant will be caring for clients living in the Ballina region, including Lennox Head, Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay, Ocean Shores, Mullumbimby and surrounds
The candidates must have availability for three days a week ***********
About the role
In this role, you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.
The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car for which you'll be paid $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time
The care work you'll be doing may include:
Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressingHelping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaningProviding transportation to appointments and assisting with shoppingAssisting with medication

About you




You can relate to people and you're patient and solutions-focusedYou may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged careYou have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min.
