Wood is recruiting for a Mechanical Hotworks Planner to join the Wood team at the Ampol Refinery based in Lytton, Brisbane - on a permanent basis.This role will support the Lead Planner with the ongoing development and implementation of various planning and quality processes, whilst assuming responsibility for scoping, estimating, planning & scheduling all mechanical piping work in a designated process area.This is a great prospect to progress and thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution to the team.We will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those holding the required permit/VISA to work in the region.
#LI-SiteFor 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Australia and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams.Our team of engineers, planners, supervisors, team leads, quality control, contract management, mechanical and electrical technicians, logistics, payroll, site administration, project management and human resourcing are committed in producing and distributing petroleum and fuel safely and efficiently to customers and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesMonitor CMMS (SAP) daily to review notifications and ensure timely creation of accurate work ordersConduct comprehensive site inspections to develop clear, detailed scopes of work for maintenance and project activitiesPrepare workpacks, outlining required tasks, materials,
