We offer a number of qualifications and opportunities to provide students with new skills, knowledge and experience to empower them to positively contribute to their communities and their futures.Your new roleThe Project Manager (Domestic & Family Violence Project) is responsible for developing a Certificate IV in Community Development with a focus on domestic and family violence.
The course will be delivered to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who work in services supporting families impacted by domestic and family violence or who wish to work in the domestic and family violence sector.This role works with the Academic Team and Course Steering Group and is responsible for:Convene a Course Steering GroupFacilitate Course Steering Group to approve draft course structureRecruit and manage project staff (Instructional Designer, Content Developers & Subject Matter Experts)Assess existing learning materials (including manuals, videos, policies & procedures)Research all agencies related to domestic and family violence (e.g. Police)Consult regularly with the Course Steering GroupConduct pre-delivery validation of all course materialsWork with Instructional Designer and Digital Learning Officer to build the course in the SMS and LMSWork with Instructional Designer to:develop learner manualsdevelop course content videoscurate supplementary materialsdevelop assessmentsWhat you will need to succeedAdvanced project management skillsAbility to prioritise and work to strict deadlinesExperience with development of nationally recognised training coursesClear and accurate written and verbal communicationAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite experienceHigh level of organisationExperience in managing othersAbility to work with other team membersExperience with trauma informed practiceAn interest in supporting issues related to domestic and family violenceWhat you need to do nowTranby has a strong commitment to employing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people into these roles.
