North Lakes, QLDJob Title:Building Estimator | Insurance Repairs, Restoration & Commercial ProjectsBase location:North Lakes, QLDDepartment:ConstructionTravel:Travel requiredReport to:Estimating Team LeadResponsible for:Assessing and EstimatingPosition PurposeEnsuring cost estimates are produced in a timely and competitive manner in order to secure ongoing opportunities and work.Organizational RelationshipsInternal stakeholders:Reporting to the Lead estimator and all staff including safety advisor.External stakeholders:The position represents Advanced Building Pty Ltd to all customers and external stakeholders.
Ensuring the employee presents and conducts themselves in a skilled manner at all times including interactions with loss adjusters, insurance parties, sub-contractors and other external parties associated with ABQ.Role and ResponsibilitiesManage and produce detailed scopes of work and cost estimates in line with project documentation, considering quality, safety, and environmental requirementsBe able to interpret construction plans and specifications whilst completing take offs to ensure accurate measure of BOQ's.Co-ordinate site meetings with sub trades to obtain tender costingProvide training and guidance to estimation staff when neededDevelop relationships with clients, trades,
