And the sheer variety of Novita's offerings means opportunities to take your career where you want it to go.Work at a place that supports you to achieve your best, so you can support others to achieve theirs.Description:About The RoleThe Business Development Consultant (AAC) plays a key role in expanding NovitaTech's Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and alternate access technology portfolio across disability, health, aged care and education markets.Acting as a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with customers, clinicians, educators and sector partners, helping them identify appropriate assistive technology solutions to support communication and participation outcomes.
While you will provide expert product and technical guidance, you will work closely with Novita's Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists when clinical assessment, prescription and co-consultation are required.This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional with a passion for assistive technology,
relationship building and improving outcomes for people living with disability.In this role you will:Drive sales growth and revenue across AAC and alternate access assistive technology solutionsDevelop and maintain strong business relationships within disability, health, aged care and education sectorsIdentify new business opportunities, referral pathways and strategic partnershipsProvide expert advice and demonstrations on AAC devices, software and alternate access technologiesSupport customers, families, clinicians and organisations to understand available technology solutions and funding pathwaysPartner with Novita's Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and clinical teams to facilitate assessment, prescription and implementation of appropriate solutionsRepresent NovitaTech at industry events, conferences and networking opportunitiesSkills and Experiences:Knowledge, Skills And ExperienceDemonstrated experience achieving sales, business development or growth targetsExperience building and managing customer and stakeholder relationships across healthcare, disability, education, aged care or related sectorsStrong knowledge of, or genuine interest in, AAC, assistive technology, rehabilitation technology or related fieldsExperience working with clinicians or subject matter experts, procurement teams and government-funded servicesExperience working with AAC, assistive technology, disability supports, allied health, education technology or rehabilitation products (desirable)Ability to confidently present, demonstrate and explain technical products and solutions to a range of audiencesStrong commercial acumen and consultative selling skillsExcellent communication, influencing and relationship-building capabilitiesAbility to work collaboratively with clinical professionals, suppliers and support teamsCurrent driver's licence and willingness to travel as requiredEducation And QualificationsUnderstanding of the NDIS,
aged care, education and hospital funding environmentsQualifications in business, health, disability, education, allied health, rehabilitation, assistive technology or related fields are highly regarded but not essential.
Equivalent industry experience will also be consideredNDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children CheckWe're serious about safeguarding our clients.
