Working across Council's capital works program, you'll manage projects from planning through to completion, delivering high-quality outcomes that enhance the Noosa lifestyle.

You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, balancing competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget.
A confident communicator, you build effective relationships with contractors, consultants, stakeholders and the community, and bring strong problem-solving skills to complex project environments.
Your proactive approach and commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure outcomes will make you a valuable addition to our team.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and manage the civil infrastructure projects from planning through to completion, ensuring quality, budget and time objectives are met.Coordinate project design, procurement,



contract administration and stakeholder engagement activities.Monitor project performance, risks and issues, implementing effective project management controls and solutions.Ensure projects align with Noosa Council's Design Principles and strategic objectives while fostering strong relationships with consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.Essential Skills and ExperienceSubstantial experience delivering civil infrastructure projects across planning, design, procurement, construction and project completion phases.Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, risks, contracts, consultants and contractors within established governance and delegation frameworks.Advanced analytical, investigative and problem-solving capability, including the ability to assess complex or unstructured project matters and develop practical, evidence-based solutions.Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure project delivery, procurement, contract administration, financial management, risk management and relevant technical standards.QualificationsDegree qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline relevant to the role.Current Queensland "C" Class Driver Licence.Membership, or the ability to obtain membership, with a relevant professional body such as Engineers Australia, the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) or the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) will be highly regarded.Work where others Holiday.
