Our Operations Team Leader is responsible for management and co-ordination of South Australian Loans team personnel their workflow and day to day activities to achieve KPI's.
The role will involve; co-ordination of LifeHealthcare kits and liaison with kit scheduling nationally to manage any shortfalls which may be identified in that period.
Maintaining national standards across the local team, performance measurement,



improvement and communication with stakeholders on delivery.Key Responsibilities:Co-ordinate movement of loan kits for each booking with the loan kit staffEnsure kits are complete and functional before dispatching to a hospitalManage urgent requests or turn aroundsCo-ordinate after hours work and weekend on-call rosteringLiaise with couriers, hospital staff and LifeHealthcare staff to ensure kits are delivered according to SLA's or customer specific requirementsWork with national loan kit staff to ensure kit accuracy and traceabilityWork with national loan kit staff to ensure instrument repair and replace policy is being followed and executed as neededCommunicate loan kit supply issues to LHC sales staff and hospital loans staff in advance of surgery, ensuring adequate time to co-ordinate alternative sources of loan kits and stockWork with national loan kit staff to ensure that all system transactions are completed in SAP system for each kit receipted, inspected, and dispatchedEnsure all team members are adequately inducted and trainedLead, motivate and provide coaching/training to the Team.
Develop team members and provide support to encourage high performance outcomesWe believe your application will be successful if you can demonstrate:Previous experience in loan kit environmentManagement experience leading a small team (essential)Experience in medical device industry within similar role (at least 2 years)Strong attention to detailSound understanding of inventory systemsKnowledge of loan set processesTeam player, professional and personable, strong communication skillsCalm under pressure, hands on leader, continuous, improvement mindsetCar License required, some out of hour's work required and some domestic travel requiredLifeHealthcare is a company of the EBOS Medical Technology Division which also includes an allograft manufacturing (Australian Biotechnologies), an aesthetics division (Cryomed) and a South-East Asian distribution business (Transmedic).
