WA, East Fremantle Community Park, ****Lead the operations of a diverse, multi-use community precinctFull-time leadership opportunity with genuine community impactOversee hospitality, health and fitness, sport, events and facility operationsJoin a growing and entrepreneurial organisationBelgravia Health & Leisure is seeking an experienced, commercially focused and community minded Venue Manager to lead the operations of East Fremantle Community Park.This is a unique opportunity to oversee one of Western Australia's most diverse community precincts, combining hospitality, health and fitness, community sport, events and public recreation spaces within one integrated venue.The RoleReporting to the Business Operations Manager – Western Australia, the Venue Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of East Fremantle Community Park.The role is responsible for ensuring the venue operates safely, efficiently and commercially, while delivering high quality experiences for members, customers, sporting clubs, tenants, stakeholders and the broader community.You will lead a multidisciplinary management team across hospitality, health and fitness, functions and events, administration and facility operations.A key focus of the role will be driving sustainable financial performance, developing the venue's programs and services, strengthening stakeholder relationships and continuing to establish the precinct as a leading community destination.About YouYou are an experienced and confident leader who enjoys working across a broad and fast-paced operational environment.You have strong commercial awareness, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance community outcomes with operational and financial performance.You are comfortable leading diverse teams, managing competing priorities and taking a hands-on approach when required.
You will bring energy, accountability and a strong customer focus to the role while continuing to develop the venue and its people.Key AccountabilitiesProvide leadership and direction across all venue departments, programs and operational areasOversee hospitality operations, including the café, bar & restaurant, functions, kiosks and event day F&B; servicesOversee the health club, gym, group fitness, indoor cycling, Reformer Pilates,



personal training and allied health servicesCoordinate community sport, facility bookings, major events and shared access arrangementsDevelop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, labour targets and financial performanceDrive revenue growth, membership performance, customer participation and commercial opportunitiesEnsure high standards of customer service, presentation, cleanliness and facility maintenanceMaintain compliance with workplace health and safety, liquor licensing, food safety, child safety and other legislative requirementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with local government, sporting clubs, tenants, contractors, suppliers and community organisationsManage venue contracts, service providers and major operational projectsIdentify opportunities to improve services, increase participation and strengthen the venue's community impactPrepare operational reports, business plans and performance updates for internal and external stakeholdersSupport the delivery of major sporting fixtures, community activations, functions and precinct eventsEssential Skills and QualificationsDemonstrated experience managing a complex leisure, hospitality, sporting, recreation or community facilityProven leadership experience across multidisciplinary teamsStrong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, labour management and performance reportingDemonstrated ability to drive revenue, participation and operational improvementsStrong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skillsExperience managing contractors, service providers and facility operationsSound knowledge of workplace health and safety, risk management and legislative complianceStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesCurrent First Aid and CPR certificatesCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent National Police CheckDesirableTertiary qualification in business, hospitality,



sport and recreation, facility management or a related disciplineCurrent RSA & Approved Managers certificateCertificate IV in Fitness or equivalent health and fitness qualificationExperience within a multi use community, leisure or sporting precinctExperience managing licensed hospitality operationsExperience delivering major sporting events, functions or community activationsKnowledge of local government contracts and stakeholder environmentsAbout the VenueEast Fremantle Community Park is a unique, integrated space combining sport, leisure, and hospitality.
