Urgent Hiring: Support Worker Needed For Immediate StartPoint Care is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people withdisabilities by delivering person-centred, high-quality supportaligned with the NDIS.Position SummaryThe Support Worker will provide assistance to clients inaccordance with their individual NDIS plans, promoting independence,safety, and overall well-being.Key Responsibilities:Provide support to clients in line withtheir NDIS goals and support plansAssist with daily living activities,including eating, dressing, bathing, and groomingProvide transportation support toappointments and community activitiesDeliver respite care to clients and theirfamilies when requiredMaintain accurate and up-to-date recordsof client care plans and progress notesCommunicate effectively with clients,families, and other members of the care teamAdhere to all health and safety policiesand procedures to ensure client well-beingParticipate in ongoing professionaldevelopment to remain current with NDIS best practicesPlease note that Point Care does not offer visasponsorship.




Applicants must have full and unrestricted workingrights in Australia at the time of application.RequirementsMinimum of a high school certificate or equivalentCertificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability, AgedCare, or related field), or willingness to work towards completion(highly regarded)Lived experience and/or paid experience supporting people with disabilityMust be currently located in Australia at the time of applicationMust hold valid work rights and lawful permission to live and workin Australia at the time of application (VISA sponsorship not available)Availability to work across day shifts, night shifts, sleepovers,and weekendsStrong understanding of the NDIS and its Practice StandardsSound knowledge of health and safety regulations and duty of care obligationsAbility to work with a diverse client base, demonstrating culturalawareness and sensitivity to varying abilities, backgrounds, andcommunication needsBasic care skills, including first aid (or willingness to obtain)Solid computer literacy, including proficiency in MicrosoftOffice and basic digital systems
