APG Workforce are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant with painting experience to join a busy maintenance team based in the Innisfail region.
This is a hands‐on role supporting painting and building maintenance activities across a variety of sites.Pay Rate: $38 – $43 per hour + SuperAbout the Role:You will assist with a range of painting and maintenance duties, including surface preparation, painting, and general upkeep of buildings and facilities.
The role will involve both indoor and outdoor work and requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.Key Responsibilities:Assist with surface preparation including sanding, cleaning, and patchingSupport painting and finishing tasks across various surfacesUse and maintain hand tools, power tools,



and small plantAssist with general building maintenance dutiesFollow safe work practices and site procedures at all timesWork both independently and as part of a teamSupport tradespeople and supervisors as requiredAbout You:Previous experience in painting, construction, or general labouringWhite Card (or willingness to obtain)Solid work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work with minimal supervisionGood communication and teamwork skillsDriver's licence preferredDesirable:Experience in painting and decoratingWorking at Heights or Asbestos Awareness (advantageous)This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain further experience in the building and maintenance industry within a supportive team environment.Immediate start available for the right candidate.
