Boilermakers & Fitters for Power Station ShutdownShutdown Boilermakers & Mechanical Fitters – Power Station OutageAn established and reputable engineering firm is seeking experienced and motivated Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to join the team for an immediate start on a Power Station outage near Chinchilla.This is a major outage project with consistent hours, strong rates, and accommodation provided.Roster:Monday to Saturday – 11-hour shiftsAccommodation provided for the duration of the shutThe RoleYou will be part of a structured shutdown crew working across fixed plant equipment within a Power Station environment.
Duties will include but are not limited to:ROM bin wear liner replacementBreaker refurbishmentsFeeder refurbishmentsChute inspections and wear plate replacementSizer refurbishmentsCrusher overhaulsWork will involve heavy mechanical tasks, structural fabrication, confined space entry, rigging support,
