Our OpportunityWork Location: Christmas Creek – Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.Roster: 8D/6R - FIFO ex PerthReporting to the Training Supervisor, we are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Trainer and Assessor to join our team at Christmas Creek.In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment across mobile maintenance operations, helping our people build the skills and capability to work safely and effectively.
You will work closely with operational teams and new starters to deliver practical and classroom-based training while supporting a strong learning and safety culture.This is an chance for an experienced trainer with a mobile maintenance background to make a meaningful contribution to workforce capability across our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver mobile maintenance training and assessment in line with operational and training requirementsFacilitate practical and classroom-based training for employees and new startersAssess competency and maintain accurate training and assessment recordsSupport onboarding and site training requirementsWork closely with operational teams to identify and respond to training needsMaintain training materials and resources to support effective learning outcomesProvide clear coaching and feedback to participantsManage training priorities effectively while working both independently and collaborativelyDemonstrate a strong commitment to Fortescue's Values and safety cultureQualifications And ExperienceCurrent Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentDemonstrated experience in mobile maintenance and heavy mobile equipmentStrong operational knowledge gained within mining, heavy industry or a similar environmentCurrent C class drivers licence, with a heavy rigid licence desirableRelevant high-risk work licences, including but not limited to forklift, EWP, Dogging etcStrong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skillsSound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, Success Factors, BI ReportingStrong organisational and time management skills with attention to detailAbout UsBe part of something big.
