Permanent full-time opportunity teaching across Kindergarten to Year 6
Join a collaborative teaching team committed to our students
Term 1,**** start
At Shore, the primary years are a formative time in a boy's education.
They are years where foundations are strengthened, confidence is built, curiosity is encouraged and character is shaped.
Shore is, at its heart, a relational school.
Our strength lies in the quality of our people and the depth of our connections across students, staff, families and the wider Shore community.
Built on the foundation of the Christian faith, we seek to be inclusive, welcoming and purposeful in all that we do.
This permanent full-time K–6 Classroom Teacher position is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to student learning, wellbeing and growth within a collaborative and highly engaged Preparatory School environment.
A little bit about the role:
This role is suited to a contemporary, committed and relational primary educator who is passionate about designing and delivering engaging learning programmes for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Working as part of Shore's Preparatory School teaching team, you will plan, implement and evaluate learning experiences that support academic progress, wellbeing, creativity, independence and confidence, while aligning with Shore's learning philosophy, School policies and NESA requirements.
You will take responsibility for the learning progress and care of the students in your class, creating a safe, respectful and productive classroom environment where boys are known, supported and challenged.
The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, support teachers, stage leaders and families, as well as active contribution to the broader life of the School,

including student wellbeing programmes, school events, professional learning and co‐curricular activities.
To be successful, you will:
Bring a strong understanding of contemporary primary education, NESA syllabus requirements and differentiated classroom practice
Create protected, nurturing and respectful classroom environments that support academic, social and emotional growth
Use assessment, data and professional judgement to plan purposeful learning that meets the needs of all students
Communicate warmly and professionally with students, colleagues, parents and carers
Support the Christian ethos of Shore and contribute actively to the School's co‐curricular, wellbeing and community life
If you are an enthusiastic and reflective primary educator who is ready to contribute to a strong teaching team and help boys grow as learners and people, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Our Commitment to you:
At Shore, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and growth of our staff.
Guided by our values, we take a holistic approach to wellbeing, recognising the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, professional, and financial aspects of life.
We offer a range of wellbeing initiatives, professional development opportunities, and support services designed to help you thrive at every stage of your career.
Just as we invest in the growth of our students, we are equally committed to ensuring our staff feel supported, valued, and able to do their best work.
