Develop and implement communication strategies, campaigns and public affairs activities in an Australian Government setting, providing media, issues management and strategic communication advice to senior stakeholders.

Essential Tasks
Develop and implement communication strategies, plans and products for key projects, campaigns and commemorative events.
Provide communication, media and issues management advice to senior management and business areas.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Support launches, presentations, public relations events and other public affairs activities.
Key Criteria
Well-developed written and communication skills,
including the ability to negotiate and communicate with influence.
Ability to inform communication strategies and provide advice that supports business outcomes.
Strong leadership, teamwork and stakeholder relationship skills.
Excellent proofreading and editing skills, supported by core project management capability.
