. We are partnered with a major insurer in the CTP space who are expanding their market share and who are seeking experienced a
Technical Specialist
to join their
team in Sydney. Adaptable working 2 days in the office, and 3 from home.
We are in a position where we can provide Senior case managers that step up into a technical role, but we can also consider CTP Legal specialist looking to move away from practice + billables, into a pure coaching role and move into the world of insurance with a global industry leader.
As a CTP technical specialist you'll be working daily mentoring and coaching case managers to help them up-skill, develop further and adhere to the scheme guidelines when assessing claims.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of case managers through identification of skill gaps and activation of coaching to improve technical experience, strategic case management and the customer experience.
Support the implementation of claims resolution strategies to achieve best in industry return to health and work rates which results in higher finalisation rates, lower claims durations and lower average claims costs than industry
Focus on timelines of liability decision making.




Focus on settlements / offers and estimating accuracy to ensure targets are achieved.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience working on CTP files, or CTP case management.
Strong understanding of CTP legislation. Personal Injury or Liability Insurance experience would be a nice to have but not required.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Driven to want to help, develop and coach case managers, with prior mentoring experience.
