About the Role
AHP is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team as an independent contractor.
This role is ideal for clinicians looking for greater flexibility and autonomy in the way they work. Working under a 60% revenue share model, you will have the ability to shape your workload around your availability and existing commitments, while being connected to a national multidisciplinary allied health organisation.
As a Speech Pathologist with AHP, you will connect your clinical expertise with the people and communities who need it most, supporting individuals to improve communication, swallowing,
participation and quality of life. You will work across a range of care settings, including clients' homes, residential aged care, clinics, community and other healthcare settings.
Whether you're looking to supplement your existing caseload or seeking a flexible clinical arrangement, AHP provides the opportunity to do meaningful work while maintaining control over how you work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality Speech Pathology assessments, interventions and clinical recommendations across a range of healthcare settings
Develop personalised care plans that support communication, swallowing, independence and participation in everyday life
Apply evidence-based clinical reasoning to improve outcomes and quality of life
Work collaboratively with clients, families, care teams and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
Build trusted relationships through person-centred and collaborative care
Manage your own schedule with flexibility and autonomy
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a professional, person-centred approach and enjoy working autonomously while remaining connected to a broader multidisciplinary team.
You will ideally have:
Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and CPSP status through Speech Pathology Australia
Experience across community,
rehabilitation, aged care, disability or other healthcare settings highly desirable
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning and communication skills
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
