Note: This is a 12‐month Fixed‐Term Contract
The Team Leader Dealing Examination provides operational leadership across Dealing and Deed examination and registration services to drive performance, workforce capability, service excellence, continuous improvement and adherence to governance frameworks, while ensuring consistent application of legislative, regulatory and policy requirements. The role leads the delivery of Dealing and Deed examination and registration activities to ensure accurate, timely and customer‐focused outcomes that maintain the integrity and reliability of the NSW land titles system.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of dealing and deed examination and registration activities to ensure accurate, timely and customer‐focused outcomes that maintain the integrity of the NSW land titles system and meet legislative, regulatory and service delivery requirements.
Provide leadership, direction and support to examiners to build a high‐performing, accountable and customer‐focused culture that promotes capability development, consistent decision making and achievement of operational outcomes.




Manage day‐to‐day operational workflow, including workload allocation, prioritisation and throughput management, to ensure alignment with KPIs, SLAs, risk thresholds and processing deadlines.
Ensure team members adhere to the recommended operating practice advised by the quality control and assurance team and capability and compliance team.
Coach, mentor and provide timely and constructive feedback to team members to strengthen technical capability, ensure consistent application of examination standards and support employee engagement and performance outcomes.
Develop and implement individual capability building plans (i.e. training and competency building) for members within the team.
Monitor and analyse operational performance, productivity, quality and customer outcomes and provide insights, reporting and recommendations to support informed decision‐making continuous improvement and workforce capability uplift.
Facilitate input from team members with expertise in specific domains to define continuous improvement projects and other technology‐enabled initiatives, to improve efficiency, quality and service delivery outcomes.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex dealing and deed matters, ensure consistent interpretation of policies and procedures and support improvements in service delivery capability and customer outcomes.
Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, quality assurance,



privacy and information security requirements to manage risk and protect the integrity of the NSW land titles system.
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
Extensive experience within complex operational or regulated service delivery environments, including dealing examination, registration or similar high‐volume transactional processing.
Strong leadership experience in managing and developing teams, including coaching, performance management and fostering a high‐performance and customer‐focused culture.
Extensive experience interpreting and applying legislation, policies and technical frameworks to support consistent, accurate and risk‐based decision making.
Strong operational management capability with experience managing workflows, competing priorities and delivering outcomes against KPIs, SLAs and service standards.
Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and contributing to technology‐enabled initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency and quality outcomes.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, supported by robust domain knowledge and relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
