THE ROLE
We're looking for a
Social Media & Marketing Assistant
to join
The Lush Group
, the team behind
Lush Tan & Brows, Double Cleanse and Midnight Palms
.
We want someone who can create great content, bring fresh ideas, understand what makes people stop scrolling and feel completely at home in the beauty world.
This is a
dual role
. Content creation and marketing are at its heart, but there is also a salon support and reception component. We actually see this as a huge advantage: you'll be immersed in our brands, our clients, our treatments and our team, rather than trying to market a business you only know through a screen.
You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager to bring our strategy to life, while having plenty of room to bring your own creativity and ideas to the table.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Social Media + Content




Planning and creating scroll-stopping content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Filming and editing Reels, carousels, static posts and behind‐the‐scenes content
Keeping across trends and finding clever ways to make them work for our brands
Taking a brief and running with it, we are not into micro managing!
Scheduling and publishing content
Monitoring comments, DMs and engagement
Looking at content performance and helping us understand what's working, what isn't and what we should do more of
Keeping our photo, video and content library organised
Marketing + Creative
Helping dream up campaigns, promotions and fresh marketing ideas
Creating fun, engaging email campaigns through FloDesk
Designing posters, flyers and other creative assets
Coordinating influencer partnerships and collaborations
Helping plan events and activation nights
This isn't a hidden little detail buried at the bottom of the ad,
reception is part of the role.
Saturdays will primarily involve reception and salon support at Double Cleanse, with downtime used for content and marketing tasks.
On other days, you may jump in to welcome clients, answer phones and emails, help someone purchasing products or lend a hand with general front‐of‐house support.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You might be our person if you:
Have
real experience creating social media content,
this one is essential
Know your way around
CapCut and Canva
Have a genuinely good eye for content and design
Can take initiative and run with an idea
Have great attention to detail
Are comfortable filming, editing and directing others in content
Are friendly and professional with clients and genuinely enjoy being around people
Have ideas. We don't want you to be afraid to tell us, "I think we should try this..."
Experience with graphic design, FloDesk, ShowIt, Planoly, or similar platforms is a
big bonus
, but you don't need to tick every box.
We care a lot about
creativity, initiative, attitude and your actual ability to create valuable content.
THE DEETS
Location: Double Cleanse, New Farm, Brisbane
Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, generally around 8.30am–4.30pm
Employment: We're open to discussing full-time or part-time for the right person
Start: ASAP
Work style: This is an in‐person role, based at our New Farm clinic
