Chef – Full Time Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
About the Role: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our cafe kitchen on a full-time basis. The role involves food preparation, cooking, and assisting with the daily management of kitchen operations while maintaining high food quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
Assist with menu planning and daily specials
Supervise kitchen operations and staff when required
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations
Monitor food quality, portion control,



and presentation
Order food supplies and manage stock levels
Check stock for freshness and correct storage
Train and support kitchen staff
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
Prepare meals to customer dietary requirements and food allergies
Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service
Skill & Experience
Proven experience as a Chef in a café or restaurant environment (minimum 2 years)
Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of a wide range of cooking techniques
Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Australian work rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship
